Nixyaawii was awarded chater school of the year. It was the school picked out of 71 charter shcools in oregon because its most closely adhered to the six legislative goals set for charter schools in oregons charter school law. at pendleton high school native american drop out rate was about 63 to 64 percent now its about 15 percent.

iam really proud to be a student at theis school i am happy that we got charter school of the year that makes me feel good about the years to come.

Bus bomb kills 20 in Baghdad

A bomb tore through a minibus in a largely Shiite Baghdad neighborhood Monday, killing at least 20 people and wounding 18. Gunmen killed at least 10 people.

In Washington, the blue-ribbon bipartisan commission trying to devise a new course for the war in Iraq . The Iraq Study Group plans to announce its recommendations to Bush and Congress by the end of the year.

Iraqi police find 56 bodies in Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Iraq - U.S. National Intelligence Director John Negroponte met Friday with the Iraqi prime minister, in the second visit this week by a top U.S. official. The unannounced visit to Baghdad comes amid spiraling violence that included four American deaths and the discovery of 56 bodies in the Iraqi. the bodys were of men 20and 45 years of age. they were victoms of death squads.

i think its weird how these people die death squads never heard of that.
